Welcome to the Nursery room!

Our nursery is a beautiful homely, relaxed environment where we aspire to build trusting relationships with the children, families and caregivers. We aim to cater for each child’s individual needs by working collaboratively with families to ensure home routines can be followed as closely as possible in a caring and supportive atmosphere.

Our Nursery caters for up to 8 children per day, aged from 6 weeks to 2 years.  The children are educated and cared for by two experienced and qualified early childhood educators who are committed to providing a warm and loving environment where the children feel safe and secure and develop a sense of belonging.
We value and respect that our families are the first and most important “teachers” that the children have and we love to work with you and support you as your child grows. Our Open Door Policy provides a great opportunity for you to visit us and work alongside us to nurture your child’s development.

The Nursery’s educational program is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework which has a key focus on developing each child’s sense of Being, Belonging and Becoming. On a daily basis the children are engaged in a variety of sensory and tactile experiences to develop their sensory skills and fine and gross motor development. Opportunities are provided for children to engage their natural curiosity in a safe, fun learning environment in both the indoor and outdoor settings. Our program also includes a daily bible time where your child will begin to hear about God’s love for us through stories, poems and songs.

We love outdoor play in the nursery room; we have an inviting yard with a large grassy area, a sandpit and sand kitchen where we ‘cook’ with wet and dry sand, leaves, bark, seed pods and more!  The children love our banging wall where we can create lots of music and sounds.  The large shady verandah allows the children outside opportunities whatever the weather or time in the day.

We provide an air-conditioned sleep room for the children where your baby will have their own cot. We understand the importance of maintaining a sleep routine for your baby and we will endeavour to ensure that your child’s sleep routine is implemented consistently within our centre.

At Caboolture Christian Children’s Centre we view childcare as an extension of home life and see our role as complementary to that of the parent, working together for a common goal to best meet the needs of all the children.

We look forward to meeting you and becoming a part of your child’s early education.
